Welcome to the home of Sure Catch Charters we are located at Treasure Island Marina on Grand Lagoon, which is part of St Andrew Bay. A quick look on the internet or in the phone book will reveal dozens of fishing charters , ranging from 16 ’ flats boats to 80’ party boats , however on most of these boats you will be limited to only one or two methods of fishing and a only handful of angling choices . At Sure Catch Charters we offer many angling choices and fishing methods both inshore and offshore to assure our anglers a successful fishing trip .The choice is yours from casting live or artificial bait for Spanish mackerel , redfish ,bluefish, redfish, trout, and many more species in the bay or fishing in the gulf either surface , bottom fishing or chumming for king mackerel, grouper, snapper ,amberjack , shark, and a assortment of other fish . In order to provide so many options I fish out of 23’ center console it is a fast stable smooth riding deep v , with a full complement of electronics to help put you on that big one. We use light tackle and provide personalized service for small private parties of 1 to 4 people. All bait and tackle are furnished ,charters range from 4 to 8 hours, children and families are welcome , we offer great fishing charters for the novice to the seasoned pro .
The Captain
I was born in Melbourne Florida ,my family moved to Panama City when I was thirteen ,being an avid fisherman since I was a kid , my first job was seamed only natural working on a charter boat, after that I was hooked .Not wanting to bore you with a lot of details , I have made my living fishing for the last twenty-seven years . The first six of those years , was on both charter and commercial fishing boats .Not being but a handful light tackle fishing guides in our area at that time ,I started Sure Catch Charters in 1986 to take advantage of our great gulf and bay fishing .During the late 80’s there was only four or five light tackle fishing guides working our area waters, now there is probably forty or fifty. It is my goal to provide each of my customers the best in personalized service and great light tackle fishing for the amateur to the most seasoned pro.
