Winter Fishing
It’s mid winter and I know most of you like me have cabin fever , however on the pretty days we have been doing good catching redfish . From now till the end of February we will be fishing for our resident fish . Inshore we will be catching mixed bag of redfish , bluefish , drum and sheephead using live shrimp and jigs . Most of the time we will be fishing within a short 15 or 20 minute boat ride . Offshore weather permitting we will be catching a mixed bag of smaller snappers , triggerfish , sea bass , flounder and a occasional amberjack fishing light tackle with both live and dead bait .
